Our friends over at Brighton Energy Co-op have managed to raise over £300,000 from the local community that meant they could install a huge 212kW solar PV system on shed 10 at Shoreham Port. Those every-day investors are poised for a 5% return on their investment over the next 20 years (each year 5% of your investment is paid back along with a 5% dividend) - not to mention satisfaction gained by becoming part of one of the UK's most exciting energy initiatives. Now, they are at it again: raising funds for Phase 2 of the project to do the same again on a similar building at Shoreham Port and you can get involved!
