It’s a super-positive round up of about 60 of our favourite examples of practical climate action and progress from around the world.

They range from Dutch style bike lanes planned for gas-guzzler capital Los Angeles, solar powered hospitals in Haiti and Nepal, a state of the art low-carbon lifeboat station in Cornwall, community-owned river turbines in the Philippines and a rapid-recharge electric ferry in Sweden. There is even a super energy-efficient Aberdeenshire hair-dressing salon. And change on a truly global scale as China powers ahead as the world's number one generator of electricity from wind, and sales of electric cars are up by 77% in Europe this year.

#itshappening comprises of various news articles, blogs and information about how we are heading towards a brighter future. Tomorrow, 10:10 will present you with a gallery of inspirational stories that are are fighting against the question of whether renewable energy is making a difference to our economy and, more importantly, our planet and the lives of the future generation.Click here to find out more and don't forget to check in for the launch!
