We are passionate about renewable energy. We were borne out of a genuine desire to change the world – not just make a quick profit. Our founder and MD, Howard Johns, is a leading voice in the industry and a tireless campaigner, winner of the 2012 Microgen Champion of the Year award.

We may cover a big area and have a 30-strong team, but the key is keeping it local. We have three regional branches, employing and training local people and using local suppliers and manufacturers as much as possible. All our installers, project managers and electricians are in-house, so we can guarantee we are sending you the best people for the job.

 

We enjoy long-lasting relationships with local authorities, public sector organisations and commercial industries. We’re part-owned by the green investment bank, Triodos, and partners with the Soil Association. We work extensively with leaders such as Knight Frank, Fisher German and Southern Farmers.We are also a member of many forward-thinking community groups, including OVESCo (founder member), Leominster Community Solar, Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon, Low Carbon Hook Norton, Cyswllt Peterston Connect, Transition Tring and Repowering South London.

As the people behind Britain’s first 100% community-owned PV power station, as well as the first community solar installation on social housing, we are proud of our work enabling towns and communities to harness the sun’s – and each other’s – energy for massive and meaningful change.

 

We hold ‘Approved Contractor Status’ under the NICEIC; MCS accreditation; Solar Trade Association membership; Constructionline, CHAS and EXOR scheme membership; and all our installation staff are CSCS registered and H&S trained. We are members of the REAL Assurance Scheme.

All our work comes with a warranty, and optional operations and maintenance contracts where required, that can include live monitoring of your system to spot problems before you even know they’re there.
