Located in the beautiful East Sussex town of Lewes, you wouldn’t guess from the surroundings what energy and ideas were buzzing away the other side of our Head Office door! With more solar passion and knowledge within those four walls than anywhere else in the UK, there’s always a hot debate, topical discussion or innovative development plan going on. 

Established in 2002, our Head Office is immensely proud of the work and achievements of our Southern Solar team based across our regional offices. Please see the contact pages for details about each local team and links to their individual sites.

London

Our London office works across the capital to bring Solar PV and Solar Thermal solutions to homeowners, businesses, hotels – and social housing residents. We were very proud to partner up with community group Repowering South London to install this pioneering community-owned solar energy system called Brixton Energy Solar 1. As the name suggests, it will be the first of many projects across the area to give tenants on lower incomes a share in the energy generated.

Our Welsh office are not just proud of being one of the leading solar installers in south Wales – they can also boast about being the first Southern Solar rugby team! The team, called ‘Solar Storm’, is made up of gutsy office staff and panel installers who enjoyed their first season in the Cardiff touch rugby league in 2012.

 

When they’re not battling it out on the pitch, they’re hard at work installing Solar PV and Solar Thermal systems across Cardiff, Glamorgan and surrounding areas. We have built excellent relationships with local councils and public sector bodies and been entrusted with large scale commercial projects in the area, as well as countless home and smaller-scale installations.

 

We are particularly happy to work on local agricultural projects, including Bwlchwernen Fawr in Lampeter, Wales's longest-certified organic farm, where the famous Hafod Organic Cheddar Cheese is made.
