This is Headmistress Deborah Moss of Holbrook Primary School near Horsham congratulating Thaddeus Dell our Sales Manager in Sussex for the swift and professional service we gave them with their recently installed Solar Panels.

With help from West Sussex County Council's Carbon Management Officer, Nicola Winser in the background and Councillor Peter Griffiths the school were able to invest in the School Solar PV array, which will not only work to replace expensive grid electricity the use during the day in school, but also works as a teaching aid for the children, who can take measurements, log usage, learn about sources of energy etc.The children saluted their panels with a 'Bolt' pose, we went back to the school for a morning, to see how the staff and pupils were getting on.

Thaddeus gave an assembly for the school, and with the help of Solar Inverter suppliers SMA UK, Thad was able to give out books to the pupils about Smork in Suntown, a fun character who helps children understand the book brings to life SMA’s very own character, Smork, to engage children aged 5-10 years old on the importance of renewable energy.
Smork in Suntown follows the story of a curious 5 year old girl, Betty, who asks her parents what fossil fuels and global warming are. She gets a surprise visit from Smork who takes Betty and her family on a wonderful tour of how the sun can be used to make electricity.
