Panasonic

The ever-popular and highly efficient Sanyo HIT modules have been rebranded as Panasonic. We’re delighted to be able to say that we are a premium installer of panels by this trusted household name.

  • More energy per square metre;

  • Unique design means Panasonic panels produce 10% more electricity than conventional panels;

  • Quality components ensure minimal cell degradation, increasing cell life – more power for longer;

  • Better performing in low light situations.

Unique Technology

Panasonic go to some lengths to build a highly efficient solar panel. Their unique hybrid solar cells sandwich very efficient ‘mono-crystalline’ silicon between layers of very thin ‘amorphous’ silicon. This structure reduces power loss within the cell, meaning electrical energy is more efficiently transmitted to its point of use.

Higher Performance

Panasonic’s unique technology means a panel with top of the range performance levels. In high temperatures, the HIT panels will produce an average of 10% more than other panels and the anti-reflective glass allows more sunlight to hit the cells and more of this sunlight is converted into power thanks to the HIT’s high spectral sensitivity. All in all this adds up to more energy on your roof per panel.

Highest Quality

Almost 40 years worth of research and development has gone into making Panasonic panels what they are today, from 1975 when Sanyo first started developing amorphous silicon cells.

Now under the Panasonic brand, modules are 100% designed and manufactured at their ISO 9001 certified facility in Malaysia. The use of high quality silicon as well as the advanced design has greatly reduced degradation of the cells meaning high performance levels last longer than conventional panels.

Reliability

Tests for the reliability of solar panels become better as more solar panels are installed and more data becomes available. Panasonic panels performed excellently under the TUV Rheinland long term sequential test method, maintaining consistent output despite being subjected to all sorts of extreme conditions.

Panasonic’s panels are fully certified by all the leading bodies and carry an output guarantee.

Products

Panasonic's HIT range of panels are some of the most efficient on the market, reaching levels of up to 21.6%. They are also available in sleek and unobtrusive black and benefit from being slimmer than standard modules; useful for those limited roof spaces.
