Mr and Mrs Hazel
Bolney, West Sussex, March 2010
Overview
Mr and Mrs Hazel contacted us in early 2009, seeking clear and honest advice about installing a Solar Hot Water Heating System, having experienced some hard-sell, and superficial, responses from other suppliers, including a national company.
Our Solution
We were able to explain the Southern Solar approach, and provide a detailed costing of our tailor-made system, which included parts, labour, scaffolding and any likely extras. Apparently this detail was not forthcoming from other companies being considered and therefore it was particularly appreciated and crucial to their decision- making. Consequently, we were chosen following their searching review of other potential providers.
A 30 tube Thermomax system was installed on the flat roof, which is not visible from the front, and virtually all other elevations of the property and connected to an unvented (mains pressure) hot water cylinder. This has proved a very successful installation and produces a huge proportion of the hot water they need since the installation in March 2010. It's also maintained the look of their beautiful cottage.
Our Client Said
"We are delighted with the whole installation. Southern Solar used their own skilled and qualified engineers for the complete process, and also the best quality equipment and materials. This has resulted in a very high quality installation which was completed cleanly and without any inconvenience. A full explanation of the system and list operation was also provided, along with all of the instruction manuals and guarantees. We are monitoring the performance of the system and so far all indications are that the potential financial returns indicated will be forthcoming."
"We have no hesitation in recommending a solar system installed by Southern Solar because choosing them was certainly the right decision."
